Engine options include: a 1.2-liter petrol engine with 86 hp, a 1.4-liter petrol engine with 101 hp and two 1.3-liter diesels with power outputs of either 75 hp or 95 hp. All four engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, while the 1.4-liter petrol also comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission as an option.
In the basic LS trim, the Aveo is equipped with remote locking, rear spoiler, CD-stereo radio, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors and electric front windows.
The LT version is equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels, steering wheel audio controls, a four-way adjustable driver’s seat, sunglasses holder, a driver information centre, air conditioning, Bluetooth phone compatibility and a chrome gear knob surround.
The top-of-the-line LTZ comes with a leather steering wheel, front fog lamps, rear parking sensors and automatic headlamps.
