Ginetta has revealed the new G60 sports car after the teaser last week.
Based on the Farbio GTS, the G60 has a carbon fiber body and a sporty rear fascia. However, the car also has no steering assistance, anti-lock brakes, ABS or electronic stability control systems. So, the G60 weighs about 1,100 kg or 400 kg less than the Farbio GTS.
Power comes from a Ford Mustang-sourced 3.7-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine with 310 hp. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox and a Quaife limited-slip diff, allowing the coupe to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in less than 4 seconds and hit a top speed of 265 km/h.
Only 50 units will be produced and pricing starts at £68,000 ($104,490 at the current exchange rates).
