Only a year after launch, Cadillac stated that the CTS Coupe has become the best-selling mid-size luxury coupe in the U.S.
In September, Cadillac sold 15,771 CTS Coupes, taking up an almost 27% of overall sales. This is in sharp contrast to its competitors (coupe sales is 9%).
Kurt McNeil, vice president of Cadillac sales and service, said: “The launch and sales of the CTS Coupe has been an unqualified success and sets the stage for the all-new ATS and XTS models as a critical step in Cadillac’s brand renaissance.”
As we have reported, the CTS Coupe is powered by a direct injected 3.6-liter V6 engine with 304 hp, along with a six-speed manual transmission. The CTS Coupe is priced at $38,990.
