According to a recent report, BMW is considering introducing a 3-Series diesel in the U.S.
Speaking at the launch of the F30 3-Series, BMW’s sales and marketing boss, Ian Robertson told Inside Line that "the diesel infrastructure in the country is making progress and that the public is starting to change its view on the matter."
Meanwhile, the BMW board member also admitted that the diesel technology would also help the company meet the upcoming CAFE fuel efficiency standards.
However, the introduction of diesel remains a mystery.
