Daimler unveiled new Fuso Canter Truck in Europe

Daimler has unveiled the next generation Fuso Canter in Europe.

The new Fuso Canter features a dual clutch transmission, an increased payload and a chassis design featuring enhanced body mounting ability, the new Canter is more economical, functional and comfortable.

Besides, the 3.5 t variant is equipped independent suspension on the front axle and the Electronic Stability Program (ESP). The driver's cab, which has been redesigned both inside and out, now offers even greater operating comfort.

Power comes from a 3.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine, available in three power output levels of 130 hp, 150 hp and 175 hp. Paired with a Duonic 6-speed dual clutch transmission.

In addition, the truck also be equipped with optional driver, new seats, automatic air conditioning system, a multifunction display and co-driver airbags.

The new Canter for Europe will be produced at the Tramagal/Portugal plant in September.
