Suzuki has released a single photo and details of the Swift Sport ahead of its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.
The Swift Sport will be equipped by a 1.6-liter M16A engine developed exclusively for the car. The engine will deliver 136 hp at 6,900 rpm and 160 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. It will be linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Suzuki promises the new Swift Sport will also be more responsive than its predecessor due to a redesigned rear suspension design and internal rebound springs in the struts.
Other features include the impact-absorbing body, the sport seats, seven airbags and an ESP (Electronic Stability Program).
