Porsche has unveiled new information on the 2012 911 GT3 Cup.
Essentially an evolution of the previous model, the new car adopts a 100-liter FT3 safety fuel tank which makes it more suitable for an even wider range of endurance racing.
Power is provided by a 3.8-liter 6-cylinder engine with 450 hp and the same maximum engine torque of 8,500 rpm. Also, it is equipped with a race exhaust and a catalytic converter.
The 2012 Porsche GT3 Cup will be delivered to racing teams in September and pricing starts at €161,750 plus value-added tax of the respective countries.
