The model is distinguished by a front lip spoiler, aerodynamic side skirts and a new rear fascia with an integrated diffuser. Other highlights include a lowered sport suspension, upgraded dampers, high-performance brakes, stiffer springs, reworked aerodynamic body pieces and alloy wheels.
Like the rest of the JCW lineup, the Countryman will likely be equipped by a turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine with 211 hp and 280 Nm of torque, along with a six-speed manual gearbox. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in less than 7.6 seconds.
