Lotus Evora facelift coming to Frankfurt

According to a recent report, Lotus is planning a new high-performance flagship version of the Evora.

The revamped car will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. CEO Dany Bahar says the model will be given 147 improvements and "the priority is to improve the quality." According to Bahar, including a new transmission, a sportier exhaust and a higher-grade cabin materials.


Details are limited, but we can expect a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine with approximately 400 hp. Last but not least, the firm will reveal a running version of the plug-in hybrid in October. According to engineers working on the concept, the car will reportedly have a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine and two electric motors that will enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and but CO2 figures of only 55 g/km.
