According to Autobild, Lexus will build a new hybrid car, called the CX 300h. Developed based on the Toyota RAV4 platform, the CX 300h is expected to compete with rivals such as BMW X1, Audi Q3 and Infiniti EX.

Under the hood, the CX 300h can be equipped by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with 200 hp and fuel consumption about 5 liters per 100 km. With the introduction of the CX 300h, we predict that Toyota will also develop a RAV4 hybrid.
