Volkswagen has suddenly unveiled the Buggy Up! concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Inspired by the Meyers Manx, the two-seater features a new hood, unique headlights, a rear luggage rack and 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped around 205/40 tires. The Buggy is slightly longer and wider than the standard model but significantly lower thanks to a 20 mm reduced ride height.
The interior is reportedly completely waterproof and the open side sills preventing flooding. There are also a removable iPod/iPhone speaker dock for easy portability.
