The model is distinguished by a ventilated hood, a revised grille and additional carbon fiber insertions. The new R8 is scheduled to enter production next year.
The car has a 53 kWh lithium-ion battery which sends power to four electric motors that produce 313 hp and 4,500 Nm of torque. The new R8 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and travel up to 250 km on a single charge.
