BMW Introduced the 520d Efficient Dynamics

Recently, BMW has officially introduced the 520d Efficient Dynamics, with the ability to consume fuel at 4.5-liter /100 km and emits just 119 g/km of CO2.

The BMW 520d Efficient Dynamics will cost from £30,435 when sales start in September. The car is equipped by a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine with 181 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Efficient Dynamics technology includes stop-start system, low rolling resistance tyres and brake-energy recuperation.


Other changes in the 5-series range include a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter diesel engine for the 525d. While the 520i and 528i get 2.0-liter 4-cylinder petrol engines, with 181 hp and 242 hp.

Finally, a 550i version of the BMW 5-series Touring is equipped by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 petrol engine.

Specification changes to the 5-series range includes BMW’s Drive Dynamic Control becoming standard on all models. It allows the driver to adjust the car’s ride and handling characteristics.
